Smokefoot Trade & Loan , Inc. was founded in 1983. Our goal was to provide a full service pawnshop to Morganton and the surrounding areas. We have since grown and been voted "Morganton's Best Pawnshop" 6 times in the "People's Choice Awards".

We are the oldest Keene Engineering gold mining equipment dealer on the East coast. Our inventory includes gold pans, sluice boxes, viles, sniffer bottles, books, magazines and gold dredges just to name a few. We have opened an ebay store to sell some of our most popular gold mining equipment over the web.
